Tiny's real name was Herbert Khaury. He had no middle name. He used to say it was "Buckingham," because it sounded like "royalty." (Butros, often stated as Tiny's middle name, was actually his father's first name.)
’Tiny Tims famous wedding to Miss Vicki live on "The Tonight Show" (December 17, 1969) drew a larger audience -- 45 million viewers -- than even Johnny Carson’s farewell appearance when he retired.
Even now, years after his death (in November 1996), there are literally dozens and dozens of Web sites today on Tiny Tim -- a testimonial to his enduring appeal and interest.
“”E! True Hollywood Story did a one-hour TV documentary on Tiny Tim on March 25, 2001. It was broadcast domestically to 60 million homes ... 120 countries ... 400 million homes worldwide.
Long before “KISS,” “Alice Cooper,” Michael Jackson, and “Boy George,” there was Tiny Tim with wild long hair, zany makeup, ever-changing hair color, and bizarre stage costumes. Tiny Tim was the originator of “Shock Rock”!

Tiny Tim was a great baritone singer, with incredible stamina and range of style. The high falsetto voice was a gimmick he used for effect.
In February 1993, Tiny Tim joined the original cast of “Laugh-In” for the 25th anniversary show, aired nationally on NBC.
Tiny Tim used to joke that he would probably die on stage singing his hit song, “Tiptoe Through the Tulips.” Guess what? He almost did! On November 30, 1996, Minneapolis, Minn., he was stricken onstage after singing “Tiptoe...” and died about an hour later.
